It’s a lightweight shell that keeps rain and wind off without feeling bulky, which matters when you’re layering over race kit or stuffing it into an overflowing gear bag. It’s breathable enough for easy riding and warm-ups, but it’s not something you’ll want to wear during harder efforts.
The tradeoff with this jcaket is breathability. It doesn’t vent as well as more expensive shells, which is most noticeable on the warmer days and when riding hard. But at roughly half the price of premium options, that’s an easy compromise for most riders.
