We went through a lot of kids goggles before finding these. They solved the two problems that kept showing up: straps that pulled hair and seals that only worked when the goggles were uncomfortably tight.
The back buckle is the feature we did not know we needed. Instead of stretching a tight elastic strap over a child’s head, you clip the goggles on from the back. The side buckles also make small fit adjustments much easier, which helps kids get a secure fit without a parent constantly redoing the strap.
They look more like a small mask than traditional goggles, but that is part of why they work. Standard goggles can start to hurt around the eyes, especially when kids wear them tight enough to keep water out during jumps, dives, and constant underwater play. This shape spreads pressure across a larger part of the face, so our kids can wear them for long pool days without complaining.
