The Fidlock Hip Belt hits the sweet spot for riding with kids. It has enough space for the things that actually matter—TowWhee strap, snacks, wipes, phone, wallet—and still leaves room for an extra Fidlock bottle for a kid who can’t carry one on their bike yet. It’s not minimal, but it doesn’t feel bulky either. The waistband is comfortable and easy to adjust, and the side pockets are placed well for quick access while riding, which matters when you’re constantly stopping to help. There are mounts for Fidlock bottles on both sides, which is useful if you’re already in that system. Just know those mounts are proprietary.
